SciSports is a leading sports analytics company providing data & AI-driven cloud solutions for a wide range of football customers. Our team operates at the heart of football, with our headquarters located at the Dutch National Football Federation Campus. We are a dynamic scale-up with a young, energetic team and a strong “hands on” mentality.

We are now looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join our team and help drive our multi-object tracking solutions forward.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and deploying multi-object tracking pipelines to analyze football matches. Your work will have a direct impact on player tracking, tactical insights, and scouting solutions.

Key responsibilities include

✅  Computer Vision & Deep Learning: Develop and refine multi-object tracking models to detect and track players & the ball in football matches.

✅ Model Training & Optimization: Train and fine-tune deep learning models cost-effective and high-accuracy tracking.

✅ MLOps & Deployment: Deploy and maintain computer vision models in a cloud environment (Azure, Databricks, MLFlow).

✅ Research & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in deep learning, object detection, and tracking.

✅ Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and football experts to integrate tracking solutions into our products.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves

✔︎ 3+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or a related field.

✔︎ Strong knowledge of multi-object tracking, object detection, and image processing.

✔︎ Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.

✔︎ Experience working with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), and Transformer-based vision models.

✔︎ Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

✔︎ Hands-on, pragmatic problem-solving approach with a focus on real-world applications.

✔︎ Excellent English verbal and writing skills (C1-level).

Nice-to-Haves

➕ Experience in sports analytics or tracking players in a sports context.

➕ Knowledge of video analytics, action recognition, or pose estimation.

➕ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based AI infrastructure.

Work Environment & Flexibility 

🏢 We are a Dutch company with offices in the Netherlands and USA.
